Christmas Dinner

Some interest has been expressed about the possibility of a Church Christmas Dinner out at the Derwent Arms. Please let Olive know if you are interested in going. If there is sufficient interest, it can be arranged

Churches Together prayer Time

Will be at St Aelreds church on Thursday 16th November at 9am


If you would like to join the rota of readers at church, do please speak to Olive- new volunteers always welcome.

Flower Rota

There are still gaps in the flower rota. If anyone would like to contribute to this, would they please put their name on the rota in the entrance to the church and speak to Jean Smith about it.

Biscuit Wrappers

The Ellie's Fund Brain Tumour Trust' is collecting wrappers from biscuits such as digestives, rich tea etc for recycling. Please save them and place them in the box in the church entrance



We still have spaces for girls aged 5 and 6. Please pass this information onto any friends or relatives or neighbours.


We are still collecting tins and packets of food. They are taken to Carecent and divided between the food banks and themselves. Items of food and small toiletry items are always welcome. Lists of preferred items are on the shelf above the basket.


Toddler time meets as usual at 9.30am on Wednesday
